Personality: Eva is a kind, motherly type of person. She is hardly ever seen without a smile on her face. Eva loves children and will try to give younger trainers a hand if they need it. She's that friend that you can call on if you're ever in trouble and who will rush to your aid. That doesn’t mean she'll be one to let herself be taken advantage of. Eva will figure it out sooner or later and probably won't be as inclined to help that person out.
Deep down though, Eva is a troubled girl who sometimes fears she's bad luck for her friends, especially after some of her losses (discussed in history). When caught at these moments, she can be seen as weak and helpless, often clinging to her friends and crying. Its a good thing she doesn’t let herself slip into these moments often.
When battling with her pokemon, Eva has a lot of trust in them to be able to fight without many commands from her. This "battle style" probably started when Mai and Azar disobeyed her in battle. Either way, she knows that she doesn’t have to command Azar, Mai, or Taimi in battle too much. She can seem like a bit of an air head when it comes to her pokemon's behavior, often claiming they're just playing when they're serious.

History: Eva grew up the youngest of four children in a loving family in Solaceon Town. She dreamed of being a pokemon/human nurse like her oldest brother was training to be with his Audino, who was a gift from a traveling uncle and aunt. Little Eva loved to help her older brother when he went out into the wild to help injured pokemon there. One day when she was six, she suggested her brother check up on a wild pokemon he had been looking after. He never returned. A stampede of wild Ponyta and Rapidash trampled him to death.

The family moved from Sinnoh to Hoenn after that, to start anew in a new place. The death of her brother, though horrifying, did not change Eva's love of pokemon. At first she wanted to start her travels with her brother's Audino, but her two older siblings talked her into picking up a starter from Professor Birch in Little Root. Eva wasn't sure if she would like any of the Hoenn pokemon, having once been set on a Piplup from Sinnoh, but her mind changed when she saw the Torchic at the lab.
Things between Azar and Eva started out...interesting. Firstly with the Torchic running off on her own! Eva ran after her, but soon found herself facing some wild Zigzagoon. Azar returned in time to beat up the pokemon and save Eva. Mai the Ralts was caught on route 102 and quickly became friends with Azar. She received two Kanto eggs from her aunt and uncle which hatched into Taimi and Hafiz. She dabbled between contests and gyms, not very good at either of them really. An Absol she named Mori was attacked to her team as well as a Togepi she called Hunny. The two were close. Eva didn't think much of Mori, finding him a little scary at first.
Her thoughts on the Absol would all change one day. While having a friendly battle with a slightly older boy (sitting up in a tree of all places), Eva naively told Mai to use confusion on a Houndour. After all, the Houndour's trainer had told Eva there wouldn't be a problem with the match up. Mai knew otherwise. She go mad at Eva's commands and ended up using confusion to knock her trainer out of the tree! She would have been injured if it wasn't for Mori catching her.
After that day, Eva viewed Mori (and most Absols) are guardians, protectors, and most importantly, friends.

When Eva was 16, she decided it was time to travel back home to Sinnoh for a little. A quick train ride from Canalave City to Solaceon Town and she was finally home! She showed her Pokemon her old home, which had been sold to a new family, as well as her favorite spots to play in when she had been a child. She even met up with one of her brother's old friends, a man named Chase, while she was looking around!
He asked Eva if she would like to join him while he explored the Solaceon Ruins to see if he could find any of the rumored rare items said to be hidden there. Eva agreed to tag along, even though Mori shook his head and tried to stop them. If only they had listened to the Absol!
Not too long after they started to dig, the wall began to crumble-rocks started to fall! If Mori hadn't pushed Eva and Chase away from the wall they would have been crushed! Instead, it was the protective Absol that lay under the pile of rocks. As fast as Eva could react, she called out Mai to move the rocks off of her teammate. With Chase's help, the two took the Absol back to the surface and to a Pokemon center.
Even with her fast acting, there was still long lasting, if not permanent, damage done to his body. Both of Mori's hind legs had been crushed by the rocks. He might never walk again! Eva was heart broken, unsure what she could do for her Pokemon. Chase offered to take care of Mori while Eva continued her travels around Sinnoh. At first Eva didn't know, but soon she came to the decision to leave Mori in Chase's care, as well as her Togepi Hunny. He just adored the Absol too much to leave his side.
Now with her team down to only four, Eva decided it was time for some training! She was starting to feel better, getting back to battles and trying some contests here and there. She even found a love for poffin baking!
Sadly, the joy she was starting to get back was cut short by a call from Chase late in the evening. He told her to hurry back to w/e town-that something was wrong with Mori. Eva traveled all night, making it to Chase's house in the early hours of dawn. She was too late. Mori had passed away during the night. It was probably from an internal injury that hadn't been seen before or that Mori had hidden from the humans. And now he was gone.

Eva stayed with Chase for a few month, not going very far from the town. She visited the Lost Tower almost everyday, often needing to be dragged back by her Pokemon. She was a shell of her former self. A sad, sad person.
One day, she accompanied Chase to Hearthome City for a run to the shops there. He tried to get her to make some poffins, but she said she would only watch. He ended up somehow making his batter explode all over the place! Eva smiled and giggled at seeing the mess. Chase was so happy to see the girl smiling again.
A few days later, a strange letter came in the mail that was for Eva! Odd, since she hadn't told anyone she was staying with Chase. The letter was an inviation to explore a newly discovered region known as Sonnet. At first Eva didn't seem very interested because she was still depressed, but after talking to her pokemon about it, she decided she'd go.
Before she left, Chase offered for her to take his Riolu with her while he watched after Hunny. Eva gladly accepted and was off to Tone Town for a new adventure!

Name: Combusken
Nickname: Azar
~Level: 25
Gender: Female
Nature: Rash

Attacks: Flamethrower, Double Kick, Peck, Sand-Attack
Ability: Blaze (Powers up Fire-type moves in a pinch. )

History: Eva's starter pokemon given to her by Professor Birch in Littleroot Town. Azar's rash nature compared to her naive trainer made it so that they didn't really have a good relationship at first. She is very close to Mai, Eva's Kirlia because they both have the same nature, and can often be found making trouble with her. When she was still a Torchic she enjoyed nothing more than to torment Taimi or disobey Eva, but as she has matured she's mellowed out some. Azar still likes to act before she thinks, but she defiantly trusts Eva's commands.

Nickname: Mai
~Level: 25
Gender: Female
Nature: Rash

Attacks: Confusion, Magical Leaf, Heal Pelse, Teleport
Ability: Trace (The Pokemon copies a foe's Ability.)

History: Mai was Eva's second pokemon and first “catch” (in reality Eva was able to befriend her and get Mai to join her and Azar). She is a big trouble maker for her trainer. She and Azar became quick friends once she was captured and she became the brains between the pair. She had a strong dislike for listening to Eva, especially after the girl repetitively told her to attack a Houndour with confusion. In fact, Mai knocked Eva out of a tree she had been sitting in for giving the command. Much to her horror, Eva's Absol saved the girl from getting injured. Ever since that day, Mai has had a strong dislike for dark types. Like Azar, evolution has mellowed the Kirlia out, leaving her more likely to listen to Eva's commands.

Nature: Lonely

Attacks: Sleep Powder, Razor Leaf, Vine Whip, Leech Seed
Ability: Overgrow (Powers up Grass-type moves in a pinch.)

History: Sent to Eva by her traveling aunt and uncle as one of two eggs from Kanto, Taimi hatched before the second egg did. As a Bulbasaur she was harassed by Azar and Mai often, since both of them have type advantages over her. This drove Taimi away from her team mates, at least until Hafiz hatched. She and the naughty Dratini appear to be friends, Taimi often keeping him from doing bad things. With her trainer, Taimi will do anything to please Eva, including not evolving.

Nature: Naughty

Attacks: Wrap, Leer, Thunder Wave, Twister
Ability: Shed Skin (The Pokemon may heal its own status problems.)

History: Hafiz was one of two eggs that was sent to Eva by her aunt and uncle from Kanto. He hatched much later than the first egg and is the official youngest pokemon of Eva's team. Eva has big hopes for him, often day dreaming about when he evolves into a Dragonite and riding around on him instead of training him. Even though he has big expectations set on him, for now he enjoys nothing more than a good, safe, prank. He looks up to Taimi like a big sister and will not hold back if anyone tries to hurt her.

Nature: Calm

Attacks: Blaze Kick, Force Palm, Endure, Counter
Ability: Inner Focus (The Pokemon is protected from flinching.)

History: Linken once belonged to a trainer named Chase who had been a good friend of Eva's brother. After the loss of Mori, Eva went to visit Chase and fell in love with the Riolu. Chase could see how much Eva adored Linken and decided to give her to the girl. With Eva's team, this wise eyed Riolu is something of a peace keeper between her new teammates. She is often the one to refocus the group when they are off task. Somehow she dose this with only a few words most of the time. Linken can often be found in the arms of her new trainer. What dose she think about all of this, being given away? She only wishes that she didn't have to wear such ridiculous looking bows! They keep following off!</sub>

-Eva lived in Solaceon Town

-Adored her big brother. Wanted to be a pokemon doctor like he did.

-Eva gets a Torchic as a starter.
-Catches a Ralts.

-Absol saves her life when Ralts knocks her out of a tree with confusion. Absol becomes Eva's new bff.
-Eva returns to Solaceon Town and meets one of her brother's friends, Chase.
-They explore the Solaceon Ruins even though Absol tired to stop them.
-The wall they were digging at caves in. Absol pushed Eva and Chase out of the way.
-Absol's legs are crushed by the rocks.
-Eva leaves Absol and Togepi in Chase's care and explores more of Sinnoh.
-Chase calls and says something is wrong with Absol. He dies before Eva can make it back.
-Eva was depressed for a few months.
